My new toothbrush!

Sing subject to the tune of "My Adidas" and now you've got a new song in your head for the day! *Curtsie* ...and you're welcome!

So my mom works for an Oral Surgeon - which I don't care how much you try to think of teeth, something ELSE always gets first billing in my mind when that profession is spoken! - and I totally got the hook up on a new toothbrush! The Elite Sonicare 9500! I am in LOVE with this toothbrush!

Here are the amazing features of it!

You get 2 different attachments for different size brushes

It has a smart timer. It literally beeps every 30 seconds so that in 4 beeps it automatically shuts off. So you know you've just brushed for 2 minutes.

Okay so really, it's just a toothbrush, so there aren't THAT many features I love to speak about. But really! Those 2 put me over the top.

The one thing I don't like is the "hum" it makes. Every time I turn it on, I give a little giggle as I expect Melissa to walk by the bathroom assuming some other dirty item is making the noise! Seriously, 2-3 times a day...toothbrush or "other"...Im a happy girl!

I went to bed with gum in my mouth....

....and now there's gum in my hair!

Just kidding but for some reason that line from Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day is in my head. Maybe I'll move to Australia.

If you don't know that book it's a pretty funny kids book. I like it. It's about this kid in a family with a lot of kids and how he gets shit on all day. Haha.

Today I actually feel kinda BLEH. I don't know what my deal is! I had a 3 day weekend which was fantastic! I rested a lot, got a lot done, went on 2 (count them...two!) bike rides. Today my hair is even curly and sassy which usually makes me feel like taking over the world! Still...nothing. Although my new turquoise necklace is pretty great! Disregard the fact that I look kinda cross-eyed...or high on drugs (not ruling either out)! Anyway, I'm getting very excited for our upcoming trip this weekend. Holly will be coming to hang out with us on Saturday and that'll be super fun! I gotta get outta Dodge for a bit!

Ultimate Road Trip CD

Alright -
So Melissa is turning 30 in just over one week. We are planning a trip to Mesquite, NV for a day of laying by the pool, followed by a morning of massage, and then some more laying by the pool! Very exciting. We are each on the mission to make a Road Trip CD, and since I have the blog (and she just posts random comments) I get to solicit suggestions from friends as to what will make it on the CD.

Holly, we hope you can make it to hang out with us. If not, we completely understand - but we'd love to see you!

Camels & Bees

I'm so excited! Today on my lunch break I went and bought a Camelbak for my "ride" tomorrow. I didn't want to mount the water bottle holder to my bike. Plus this gives me full access to water whenever I want. No stopping required! YAY! Fun ride tomorrow. Last week we went 10 miles, I think tomorrow we'll go farther. Very excited!

Tonight is the Salt Lake Bee's game which I'm also quite excited for. Nothing like sunshine, men with great bums in cute pinstriped pants taking out some much needed aggression on an innocent little white ball. LOVE IT! I love baseball games because you don't ALWAYS have to pay attention. I can people watch all I want and not feel bad that I missed an entire "at bat" for a team. Even if I miss the big hit...people will start cheering so I'll turn and get to see the player rounding the bases. Unlike in basketball (which yes I still love to watch) but you look away you could really miss that one GREAT PLAY! Too much pressure!
I'm looking forward to a lovely 3 day weekend! Happy Memorial Day Weekend to you all!

I *heart* Jewelry

I've been addicted to Lois Hill jewelry for about 5 years now. When I first purchased from Nordstrom, this was my initial purchase:

For my next purchase, I've been eyeballing the matching bracelet. Lately I love the dangly look on bracelets but this isn't over the top! I just love how the fine detail on the jewelry looks so gorgeous. And I love the contrast of silver on black.
You can view a lot of different styles at www.nordstrom.com

Crystal Light On The Go

Okay so I'm TOTALLY addicted to these little packets! They're super easy and now I drink just a TON of water. Daily I buy one of the Big Fiji Bottled Waters. They're my favorite, probably because the background is all tropical. FUN! Then I dump in 2 packets and viola! Fun Water!

I'm cutting back on soda and this was my way to do it. So far working like a champ!

Peach Tea is my fav! The plain Lemonade one is pretty great also!
