On this night, 3 months ago...

I weighed the same as a small country. Thus joining Weight Watchers. I still weigh a small country, but this country is now 26.2 lbs lighter! WAHOO!!

I think being sick this weekend and not eating for 3 days helped my cause - but whatever it takes! Anyway, just had to share my news.

Humiliation and Sickness

Okay so this winter I have been quite the cocky girl. I think we've nearly had a record of snowfall and it's been REALLY cold, and yet - I still insist on wearing cute high heels, etc.

Last week on Tuesday I was running late for work (as always) and toting my guitar downstairs to leave. It was a foggy day, but not cold. First step onto the cement and I completely ate it! A few choice words came out of my mouth, and then I started laughing imagining who got to see that graceful display. Girl in dress, high heels, and a guitar over her shoulder - completely eating it. HILARIOUS!

Except that today...5 days later - my knee looks like this:

GORGEOUS RIGHT?! haha.

As if that wasn't horrible enough - yesterday (Saturday) I got the worst Flu I've ever had in a long time. The Chills, achy, dizzy, sore throat. I mean you name it, I had it! This winter effing bites!

Okay well i promised pictures from the evening. Sadly I didn't bring the camera in with to the show at In the Venue - but I should've. Live and learn. I'm considering making a road trip to Boise tomorrow night for the show up there. I literally loved it and seriously need to get back to my grass roots of being more spontaneous. We'll see!

Now that I'm adding these photos - I'm pretty sure I've found the reason we're all friends. Total Cheeseballs. This was the first time I've met Krystal - so good work!

(Side note: don't you love the TV antenna in the background? I still haven't actually figured out how to plug my TV into the wall...but I like the trashy element it brings to my place.)

In Honor of Leap Year!

I'm deciding to post! That, and because I took the day off. Massages at Breathe Day Spa tonight for Laurel and I. HEAVEN! She requested the room so we can hold hands, but..me and my male masseuse might just need some privacy! haha.

I have pictures to post of the concert - have to post later - left the camera in the car - last night which I absolutely loved. After a brief mix up in Venues (they scheduled it, changed it, then changed it back w/out really telling anyone...apparently we were the only ones that didn't get the message though!) But walking around being jealous that Laurel got a sweet parking spot in front - soon wasn't as cool because clearly no one was there fighting her for it! haha.

Ingrid Michaelson was sensational. I absolutely adore artists that just play the instruments and have great sound quality - similar to their recording.

....and then there was Joshua. WOW! He has got the sexiest voice. I know singing it's pretty great but when he talks...GET ME A TOWEL! I mean REALLY! And he's cute to boot! This is my favourite song from last night by him: (which I've already learned on guitar today!) God bless my day of rest!



Thanks to Laurel and Melissa and Hayley and Krystal for going with! It was a really fun night, and much needed!

A great song by the Indigo Girls - but also a "theme" this week. I'm recovering from my nearly 80 hour work week to our trade show in Anaheim, CA (super fun - but literally have slept most of today). Okay so it's 5:53am and I should be finishing packing so that I can catch a plane to California for work this morning. I always feel like I have to re-check all my email, etc before I go (funny that I don't check my actual mail...EVER!) even though I'll have a laptop to work on while there. Anyway I was reading CNN.com and found this in regards to Heath Ledger's death.
The tag below says, "Former fiancee Michelle Williams, left, and sister Kate Ledger arrive at a memorial service". Is anyone else as creeped out as I am that they basically look IDENTICAL!? And did Michelle just roll out of bed to make it on time to the funeral?

Alright, well gots to go now. I'll blog a bit from California. Ta ta!
