I sincerely pride myself on the fact that when "Aunt Flo" comes for a visit I'm still my normal, happy-go-lucky self. I always wondered what the big deal was...seriously.
This week - I have been the biggest form of GROUCH possible. I couldn't figure out why. I never "track" things as to when to expect it - but it didn't even cross my mind as a possibility! You'd think my craving for French Fries 24 hours a day would've also been a sign something was "off". NOPE!
Literally am I 11 years old again? You'd think this was my first period ever! haha. I'm retarded!
While on subject, I've become a huge fan of Instead. I do enjoy the concept (note: they don't work for me when sleeping), I can't seem to perfect the graceful disposal. Anyway, I like them. Nothing like a topic of new age tampons and cramps to blog about on a Friday!

About to vomit!
Brought to you by the letter...
So I woke up this morning with random names that start with K in my head. (Literally, my first thoughts. Weird seeing how Kristi hasn't solicited my help in this recently. *shrug* I haven't been thinking about it either! Weird where dreams come from!).
I figured I would blog about it to give Kristi & Kyle some ideas for the new little snuggler they're expecting. As you know, they have well Kyle, Kristi, Kooper, Karson and now Boy #3. He obviously has to start with a K to finish of the group.
Here are a few I came up with this morning: Please feel free to add your comments/additions
1. Kyler - still one of my favorite names. Possible too close to Kyle in this family, but it could work.
2. Kelly - that one actually is to make Holly laugh.
3. Kole
4. Korbin
5. Kaleb
6. Kingston - shout out to Gwen Stefani
7. Kenton
8. Kurtis
I was stretching on a few of those (obvious). Welcome suggestions!

I love Wicked Tinkers
Tonight Melissa, myself and our new friend Cory went to the Scottish Festival at Thanksgiving Point. It was actually SUPER fun.
We made Cory try on a monk's robe, which was funny of course. There were a lot of men in kilts I tell you and all I could think of was "what are they wearing under there". It was a gusty night, but sadly no flashings occurred!
After we walked around and ate (Cory tried the
Haggis ) which he said was pretty good - but I'm pretty sure he could eat just about anything. I had a trusty hot dog and Melissa had the Bratwurst.
We then walked over to this field where bagpipe music was playing and this band called The Wicked Tinkers. They were actually pretty fun. Very lively! All in all a very fun night. Our new friend Cory will be a very fun playmate.

Last night...on American Idol
Last night was the Finale of Melissa's Birthday celebration! We had some people over to celebrate. It was really fun actually! Melissa has this game of American Idol that gives you a chance to do "Belt It Out" (a form of Kareoke), "Bust it up" (So you think you can dance?), or Idol Trivia. It was sooo much fun! Our group, which consisted of me, Melissa, and this guy Kevin ended up selecting Belt It Out and randomly chosen was "Physical" By Olivia Newton John. I swear until last night I sincerely believed that this song was about excercise! Here are the lyrics just so you aren't confused like I was.
I'm saying all the things that I know you'll like. Making good conversationI gotta handle you just right. You know what I mean. I took you to an intimate restaurant. Then to a suggestive movie. There's nothing left to talk aboutUnless it's horizontally
Let's get physical, physicalI wanna get physicalLet's get into physicalLet me hear your body talk, your body talkLet me hear your body talk
I've been patient, I've been good. Tried to keep my hands on the table. It's gettin' hard this holdin' back. If you know what I mean. I'm sure you'll understand my point of view. We know each other mentally. You gotta know that you're bringin' out, The animal in me
Let's get physical, physicalI wanna get physicalLet's get into physicalLet me hear your body talk, your body talkLet me hear your body talk
Yeowsers! You know I love it! haha.

Happy Birthday Melissa!
Today is the lovely Melissa's 30th birthday!
We took our trip to Mesquite this weekend for a celebration! It was actually really fun! We left at like 8am and made it as far as Orem before we needed to stop for fuel (for us & the car!) The car ride down we both had created mix CD's for the occasion which turned out quite well. We basically sang the entire ride down. I mean seriously, this is me & Melissa we're talking about. What else would we do? Plus the $50.00 in candy that we had in the back seat helped out! Melissa was all about the Slim Jims.On the way - we stopped at the first rest stop possible. There was literally a Tour Bus full of old people. We had to wait in line for like 10 minutes to use the bathrooms. This little old lady went ahead of us and she come out of the bathroom stall without doing up her pants, like she was saving us all this time by not taking the time IN THE STALL. Seriously lady, I'll hold it a bit longer if you need! This is a picture of me at the gas station w/ the old people walking behind me to get back on the bus. CLASSIC!
Pulled into Mesquite about 1pm and waited in our room for Holly's arrival. She is like the cutest 8 month pregnant girl ever! Of course she'll be horrified that I'm posting this picture (sorry!) But I love it! And thought she looked so cute! We basically laid around the pool for a long while just talking and being our old selves. I loved it. Certainly what the doctor ordered!
Anyway - we went to Walmart (hate the Walmart, but it was all that was in Mesquite) with Holly and of course Melissa and I decided that we needed nighties. Holly was just laughing that we're still silly girls that believe one great nighty can change the world! Massages were great! I didn't realize it was Melissa's first ever! I was glad I booked a girl masseuse for her though. Although she has now officially had her first lesbian experience. She said she was definitely picking up the vibe....and after seeing her - I would believe it to be truth. Mine was a guy that was kinda cute. I certainly could've jumped him, had my nightie been handy! Although the 10 minutes on each "cheek" he spent was pretty much the best touching my heiny has had in a VERY long time!
Try not to be too turned on by my bedroom eyes I'm giving in this picture! We had a VERY fun time! Lots of good joking and singing and laying around at the pool! Gotta love the girl time!
Fat Bottom Girls! you make my rockin' world go round!
Okay so, based on my weekend in Mesquite (which was SUPER FUN by the way...will blog later!) and having Melissa break out the camera non-stop while this beached whale was "out of water"...I've come to the conclusion that I must do something. Today I just signed up for the Biggest Loser Club. I would love to take 6 months off my life and join the show but 1) I would never want all of America to know how much I weigh, 2) I would seriously try to hook up with the guy trainer on that show after like 1 minute, 3) The spandex they put you in is like an added kick to the crotch that you're fat. No thanks!
So...I'm going to try this for 3 months just to see what's the deal. They give you a shopping list and recipes and tell you how many calories to eat a day. Can't make it any easier right? We shall see...
